Why Rovinieta categories matter and why VIN is often required.
Romania’s Rovinieta often covers a wider road network than motorways alone. Categories typically range from passenger cars through buses and heavier vehicles.
VIN
Many registrations require both licence plate and VIN. Keep vehicle documents available.
Extra charges
Some bridges can have separate tolls not included in the Rovinieta.
